How does pricing work right now?

Paid plans are live today at the standard rates shown above. The free tier is also live and stays free. Through September 30, 2026, you can reserve a founding-member rate for $1 — that locks in $8 / $14 / $33 per month for Solo / Pro / Business respectively (billed annually) for as long as you maintain continuous active enrollment. You can subscribe at any time; founding-member reservations don't auto-charge — you start your subscription from Settings when you're ready. See Terms §3 for the full founding-member program rules. Canadian customers are charged applicable GST, PST, or HST at checkout.

Question 2

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Cancel anytime from Settings. Your paid features stay active through the end of your billing period. After that, your account switches to Free — your data stays in your account, read-only, and you can re-subscribe any time to edit it again. Account deletion preserves signed contracts and change orders as a legal record of the contract for both parties (with personal data removed), retained for up to 7 years to support contractual rights and applicable record-retention obligations. Do you offer refunds?

Yes. 30 days on monthly plans, 60 days on annual plans, from the first paid billing cycle — full subscription amount, processing fees absorbed by us. Email hello@driftcatch.app and we'll initiate the refund through Stripe within ten business days; your card issuer usually takes another five to ten business days to settle it back to your statement. No survey, no "are you sure" hoop. The $1 founding-member reservation deposit is non-refundable (it's a deposit, not a subscription charge). Outside the window, paid subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction (EU/UK customers: your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal still applies). Question 4

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade and you're pro-rated for the remainder of the period. Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current cycle — your paid features stay active until then, then your data becomes read-only on Free until you re-subscribe. Founding members who switch tiers retain their founding-member rate on the new tier per Terms §3(g).

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free forever up to 2 projects and 1 client with core scope tracking and revision limits. Perfect to try before you reserve a founding rate.

What currencies are supported?

Drift Catch bills in USD. Canadian customers are charged applicable GST, PST, or HST at checkout via Stripe Tax. Your card issuer applies the daily FX rate at the time of payment. See Terms §13 for currency, tax, and cross-border details.

What counts as an AI draft?

Accepted Answer

One click of the AI-assist button = one draft, regardless of length or whether you keep it. We're transparent about this so you know exactly what you're metering. Pro includes 25 drafts per month; Business includes 100 drafts per month and then $0.10 per additional draft. The feature is labeled (beta) while we tune quotas — quotas may move during the beta but won't move retroactively against drafts you've already used.
